Lodge
Shebageget’s works Lodge and Flight Patterns hint at the journey across country, cultures and time that the two artists experienced. Lodge is an installation of wooden toy planes glued together in the shape of a beaver lodge. In the accompanying video, the artist explains that his work represents timelessness — the lodge was there when he was little and will continue to be there into the future. It represents the comfort of seeing something that is grounded and never-changing from one’s past.
